Based in Toowoomba, I offer professional counselling for adults, couples, adolescents & families.
I have been a certified Counsellor since 2015 and have over 20 years experience in the community services sector in various roles. I specialise in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety and a decline in their overall well-being and mental health.
My goal is to encourage you to be aware of your strengths and to help motivate and facilitate positive change and build resilience. I believe that therapy can be extremely helpful in all stages and seasons of life particularly during the transition of change. I aim to provide you support for your unique needs. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and look forward to helping you.

What is your approach to counselling?
My approach to counselling is holistic. This means therapy encompasses the emotional, cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of your being as they are all connected and determine your overall wellbeing. My practice is informed by a range of well-established therapeutic modalities including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed Practices, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
How long is a counselling session?
Session time is 50 minutes in duration, give or take another 5 to complete payment and to arrange your next session.
What is your preferred form of payment?
Payment is accepted via direct debit or credit card prior to your scheduled appointment (credit card surcharge applies).
Am I able to reschedule my appointment?
We understand that at times there may be a need to cancel your appointment. There is no charge for cancelling your appointment with more than 24 hours notice however cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Do you provide online services?
Yes, we do. For your convenience, counselling services can be provided face to face, online or via telephone.

The number of sessions required varies depending on your goals for therapy and the time you will need to work through and towards those goals. It is different for each individual however therapy is a collaborative process and rest assured reviews are a regular practice.
